Vladimir Cosma in Concert

Smetana Hall, Municipal House,

Following on from the extraordinary success of his 2017 PRAGUE PROMS concert, the Romanian composer Vladimir Cosma has decided to present to his Prague fans some of his other works, once again predominantly composed for film. The composer, whose music features in cult French comedies featuring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Pierre Richard, has been credited for his life-long work with a Legion of Honour award along with a great many other international awards.
Just as was the case four years ago, Vladimir Cosma will be bringing along a suite of distinctive musicians with enviable mastery of their instruments, adding positive Balkan folklore vibes to his music. Cosma will stand out as one of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra’s most notable collaborations of the season.
