Let's Remember Chet Baker

Online since .

This time around Jan Hasenöhrl  & The Loop Jazz Orchestra are returning to the music of jazz trumpet legend Chet Baker. We can especially look forward to hearing tracks from two of his albums released in the 1950s on which the jazz band was accompanied by a beautifully arranged strings section. Refining the style of his playing as well as occasionally joining him on the stage, saxophonist Stan Getz was Baker's companion for a substantial chunk of his career. At our concert in November his parts will be taken on by David Fárek.
