Introducing NetConcert – Your Online Concert Hall
The Czech National Symphony Orchestra is bringing you an offer of web concerts. The new NetConcert service will be launched in mid April and will include pre-recorded short videos from CNSO and Prague Proms concerts. A number of the concerts will be broadcast in their entirety.
The recordings will be posted on websites and social media sites so you can listen to them at any time and can fit them in to your schedules. It will offer another opportunity to meet Randy Brecker, Chick Corea, Carl Davis, Vince Mendoza and loads of others.
Over time we plan to add further concerts to these, taking to our CNSO studios to make recordings. Aside from jazz, we can look forward to a programme featuring classical chamber ensembles such as the Giovanni Wind Octet and the CNSO Chamber Orchestra with concertmaster Alexej Rosík
The jazz concerts will be launched in collaboration with TV Mall and Reflex. You can look forward to performances from Lukáš Chejn and Vít Pospíšil along with the jazz bands Jazz Efterrätt and Tribute to Headhunters. In addition you can expect performances from David Fárek and Jan Hasenöhrl, together with Tomáš Uhlík and Ondřej Pomajsl as part of the Jazz on Screen project.
