Giovanni Octet: Night at the Chateau
The garden of the neoclassical castle Chateau Kotěra in the Central Bohemian village of Ratboř will play host to the dulcet tones of Mozart operas adapted by contemporary composers into "tafelmusik" which literally translates as "table music". The Giovanni Octet, comprising Czech National Symphony Orchestra members, evokes the atmosphere of a time when musical delicacies were presented at castles alongside the standard menu.
